What to Expect: A Step-by-Step Guide

Session Rates and Sliding Scale

Standard Session Fee: $70

I believe that financial hurdles shouldn’t stand in the way of mental health. Whether you are uninsured or underinsuredperhaps navigating a high deductible or limited mental health benefits, I offer options to make our work sustainable for you.

Sliding Scale Availability: I currently offer a limited number of sliding scale spots at $40 per session through Open Path Psychotherapy Collective. To secure a spot, you will need to create an account with Open Path and select me as your therapist. Once registered, you can schedule sessions at the reduced rate as long as a spot remains available. Please visit my Open Path Profile to apply.

Accepted Payment Methods

We welcome payment by debit or credit card at the time of service using our secure online system.

FSA/HSA Payments

Many clients can use Health Savings Accounts or Flexible Spending Accounts for therapy, but eligibility varies. I’m happy to help you navigate this or answer any questions you may have.

At this time, I offer private-pay online sessions for clients in Wisconsin. and I'm unable to accept insurance. I am always happy to answer questions about payment options or eligibility.

Good Faith Estimate
*For Private Pay Clients*

  • You have the right to receive a "Good Faith Estimate" explaining how much your mental health care will cost.

  • Under the law, healthcare providers need to give clients who do not have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

  • You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency services.

  • Make sure your healthcare provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your mental health service.

  • If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

  • For questions about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit: www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 1-800-985-3059
